Supporting Women through
Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum

Hello and Welcome! I'm so glad you are here. Finding the right Doula is one of the best decisions you can make when preparing for your birth or your postpartum period. I work with parents of all backgrounds, genders, and creeds by creating a welcoming comfortable space. My goal as your doula is to assist you and your partner in making the best decision for your family by providing informational, physical, and emotional support and catering my services to your individual needs.

Why are Doulas Necessary?

Doulas are important public health figures in reducing complications around pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.

The presence of a doula has been shown in clinical studies to:

  • Reduce dissatisfaction with birth

  • Reduce the need for Cesarean birth

  • Reduce the need for forceps or vacuum extractor

  • Reduce use of pain medication

  • Reduce the length of labor

Six weeks after birth, mothers who had doulas:

  • Were more likely to breastfeed

  • Were less anxious and depressed

  • Had more confidence with their babies

  • Were more satisfied with their partners
